Redeemer Summer Camp

Children 1st - 6th grade

June 17-August 16

Weekdays 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Gaithersburg Campus
Get a jump-start on summer programs for your children. Let them blossom at Redeemer Summer Camp. They will develop their God-given talents and interests in a safe environment as they explore a different topic each week. Full of fun, relationship building, and learning new skills. 

Campers can be Dropped Off as early as 8 am & Picked Up as late as 6 pm. Swim days are every Thursday. Note: A healthy afternoon snack is provided every day. Campers must bring their lunch every day.

Weekly Sessions & Prices

Week 1  |  June 17-21

(SonFun 8:45-12pm) Camp is half day 12-4 pm

Water Safety/CPR & Swimming Pool EVERY DAY - $150

Kick off Summer Camp with fun in the sun and LOTS of splashing and splashing in the pool (1-2:30 pm)! Having fun outdoors is great, but learning safety tips on how to make the most fun out of your student's summer vacation is our number one goal. Children will engage in water safety, CPR and learn how to protect their body during the summer. BEST way to start your Summer Kick OFF!!!

RKids SonFun takes place 8:45 am-12 pm. You can register your campers below in addition to Redeemer Summer Camp.

 

 

Week 2 | June 24 - 28

Cooking & Science - $300

This session will focus on nutrition, the science behind the food, and cooking skills. We will sample some of the best tasting food around from local restaurants, find out how our food gets to the grocery store, learn to make all types of dishes, and chemical reactions necessary for cooking.

Week 3 | July 1 - 3

Air & Space - $ 180

This is an aviation experience where we will explore the fascinating realms of flight and outer space. We will design, build, and create flying objects to compete with our fellow campers.

Week 4 | July 8 - 12

Air & Space - $300

This is an aviation experience where we will explore the fascinating realms of flight and outer space. We will design, build, and create flying objects to compete with our fellow campers.

Week 5 | July 15 - 19

Drama - $300

Students in this camp will explore all aspects of theatre, through acting exercises, theatre games, dance numbers and much more, culminating in a camp performance the last day of camp. They will learn about audition procedures, stage conduct, and production elements, all while having a great time!

Week 6 | July 22 - 26

Video Production (grades 4-6) & Drama (grades 1-3) - $300

Campers take on every aspect of film production: storyboarding, directing, filming, acting, editing, and more. Projects may include commercials, music videos, and movie previews. In post-production, filmmakers collaborate on computer editing, adding a soundtrack, titles, and special effects.
Drama session will continue for grades 1st-3rd.

Week 7 | July 29 - August 2

Sports & Fitness - $300

Campers will strengthen team building skills by participating in sports camps as they engage in obstacle courses, relays, tug-of-war, and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also developing self-esteem.

Week 8 | August 5 - 9

Safety Camp - $300

Safety sessions including fire safety, water safety, electrical safety, personal safety, skills necessary to avoid injury and cope with emergency situations, meeting local emergency responders and more. We'll also spend time playing park games and doing various activities.

Week 9 | August 12 - 16

Adventure/Survivor Skills - $300

Set your kid's imagination and adventurous spirits free as they learn about the natural environment and the important skills of survival. Shelter, water, fire, and food. ... Activities range from basic nature/environmental education such as plant identification and animal tracking/study to true survival skills.
